Who Can Apply?
ARF members are in contact with local Eugene high school counselors to encourage high school seniors to apply for our $2000 stipend for their first year in higher education. Students submit an application and an essay that is reviewed by a committee of Rotarians. Decisions are based upon the student's financial need, service to the community, career goals and academic achievements.

Recipients must attend a college, university, or trade school within the state of Oregon. Recipients can reapply for an additional $1000 stipend up to three times if they remain in school and are on track to graduate or finish their program.

The Airport Rotary Foundation presents the scholarships to the high schools students as well as the returning college students at a breakfast meeting in late spring when we honor the students, their parents, and their advisors and/or counselors. When a student is awarded all four years of eligibility, they receive a total of $5000 over four years.
